This is a course in supply chain management (SCM), a term that denotes the integration of key business processes from end users through original suppliers for the purpose of adding value for the firm, its key supply chain members, including customers and other stakeholders. This course presents a framework for SCM that requires cross-functional integration of key business processes within and across the network of firms that comprise the supply chain. Course Outcomes At the end of the course, students should be able: Describe familiarity with logistics and purchasing concepts to improve supply chain operations. Recognize different views of Logistics and Logistics Management. Explain logistics management's primary aims and objectives to judge the degree to which these aims are achieved in specific situations with the help of presentation.
